Cain married one of his sisters, there was no danger of incest illnesses at the time because of Cain & his sister being much closer to perfection.
-The law on incest did not come into play until after 1513 BCE, when Moses was given the 10 commandments and the rest of the approx. 600 laws that God gave Israel.

(Genesis 5:3-4) “. . .. 4 And the days of Adam after his fathering Seth came to be eight hundred years. Meanwhile he became father to sons and daughters.. . .”

Professor Ruth Benedict and Dr. Gene Weltfish observe in the publication-- The Races of Mankind: “The Bible story of Adam and Eve, father and mother of the whole human race, told centuries ago the same truth that science has shown today: that all the peoples of the earth are a single family and have a common origin.”

Adam was created in 4026 BCE--according to the Biblical chronology--We do not know how long after Eve was created, then Cain was born. The marriage could have conceivably been maybe around 4000 BCE?

most likely she was one of his sisters. since the Bible says God only created Adam & Eve and told them to be fruitful and multi-ply, then it is reasonable that they probably had more than just the three boys mentioned by name. Eve lived more than 900 years, if she was furtile for just 600 years and had a child every two years she would have had 300 children. the reason only Cain, Abel and Seth are mentioned because Seth was the ancestor of Noah and all of us. Cain commited the first murder, Abel, and most of his descents were wiped out during the flood. h

Most of this information is lost to time. The Bible is a collection of stories told orally. And, typical of the Bible, there's little information on the women because women aren't very important in the eyes of the Church.
