I take a minute to pray for them. I sometimes give em money, not alot but if I was truly homeless and hungry, I hope God would send some help. I understand that some people only believe that they are going to spend the money on drugs or alcohol. And, I am sure some of them do, but they make it bad for the people who really need help. I am going to attack the homeless, drug addict issue when I have more resources. GOD STILL LOVES THEM!!!!!

The thing that I could never understand about them is when the are standing there most of the time by a big mall or tons of fast food restaurants, I wonder why they don't apply for a job at one of those places,instead of begging for money, I think I would rather work in a fast food restaurant than to beg. No I don't stop and give them anything but, one time I was coming home from applying to a temporary agency and they got me working again, I stopped and gave them a business card from the agency,I wanted to help them get a job and get out of the cold.

I usually give some change if I can. I always end up feeling bad for the person. But then I wonder if I'm being taken advantage of.

Food/cigarettes. No money. They'll just buy booze and dope with it. I tell them where the shelter is, and about the rules there, because being in recovery, I know many people who have stayed there.

I actually stopped one day and asked this guy if he wanted to come help me build some fence, said I would feed him and give hin $20...He said that wasn't enough...I drove away...screw him...
