Limbaugh is for the simple-minded (stupid). He truly is a big, fat idiot. Most people recognize the fact that he lies through his teeth--one can't listen to his show for two minutes without hearing a lie. I imagine you're not a soldier, nor do you have the courage to sign-up, but are content to be an "arm-chair" soldier, rooting on the War in Iraq from the safety and comfort of your home while people are dying for yours and Rush Limbaugh's stupidity. I know far too many people who are fighting this war that don't support it while Limbaugh fans cheer the war on. So if you're such a big Limbaugh fan, go sign up and save some American lives!

My problems are twofold with Rush Limbaugh...

(1) What he says is not based on any sort of facts whatsoever and is all opinionated fantasy. If he at least talked from a factual foundation, he would proabably have some fascinating things to say.
(2) He is a drug addict and a drug pusher and has supported the drug, guns and murder operations of Hells Angels with his drug purchases for years - this is the wrong type of person so say is ANY sort of "moral leader" for anyone.

He's a draftdodger, weaseling out of his duty based on a trivial medical-textbook ailment specifically designed to give rich cowards a way to hide from danger without seeming unpatriotic.

He's a self-indulgent drug addict who bribed his way out of going to prison for his illegal activities.

He's a loudmouth, illogical, and ungrammatical preacher for privilege, taking advantage of every prejudice and misjudgment his yokel Bushwhackoff audience of drooling slaves have had implanted in them by years of upper-class brainwashing.

He's a serial husband who can't satisfy a woman, no matter how often he gobbles down Viagra like jellybeans. He's also a miserable creep who realizes what a fraud he is and will probably eventually commit suicide.

I think he's good for comedic value...you know like John Hagee, Pat Robertson and Morton Downey Jr.

A definite icon of shame for the way conservative right.

If I was a conservative, I wouldn't be a fan because he makes a lot of right winged conservatives look bad.

I used to be, but not so much lately. He seems to follow the politics of the Republican party, namely the President, too closely. He doesn't deal with the issues in a non-biased manner. I am very conservative, but I don't want the pablum of any party shoved down my throat. Tell me the truth. Give me real solutions, not party lines.

I avidly listened to him on my car radio about 10 years ago---he's sort of a pathetic person, disgustingly condescending to women (like all the other radio and tv wits are), but very interesting and intelligent in some ways, and fun to listen to about politics. I don't agree with anything he says.
I would never listen to him now, though, since knowing he's an oxycontin addict, and perhaps an Alcoholic to boot. He belongs in AA and other 12-step programs, because drugs and liquor are his life, now.

I throughly enjoy his program. He speaks from the conservative standpoint and I think it's great.
