any way to hide those kinda scatches besides buying a cheep looking case or iskin???

there is something called "apple juice"
and it's a formula specifically made for the ipods to take out scratches... :)
look for it on the internet!

There might be some kind of chemical compound that can smoothe out scrathes in glass. But not remove them permanately. Just smoothe it out. Go to wal mart and see if they have some kind of product. You never know what kind of things they have in the world. If someone thought of it, they pursued trying to create it. Just the nature of the world. Just go to walmart, target, k mart, or something like that. True Value. And ask a worker in that department if they have such an object. I bet you they do.(I really don't bet. It is just a figure of speech). Take care sweetie!

sure, there are lotsa of cool leather or fabric cases for the ipods nowadays and there's definitely one that works and looks good for ya. or another option, is to get some ipods artworks that sticks on the ipods! i believe you will find these in apple resellers' stores.

All I can say is be careful. If your I-Pod needs to be serviced (and you pay for the Apple care), they can refuse to repair it due to your mishandleing of the unit. My daughter has one that wasn't working. We sent it to Apple to be repaired and they sent it right back to us stating that we abused the unit. After a bit of a battle, the customer service rep actually sent us a brand new unit.
