I love Star Trek. The next generation more than the original series.

Star Trek, the groundbreaker. The various spin-offs and sequels were still great stuff up until the "Enterprise" atrocity - Scott Bacula, yeesh.
The original Star Wars movies were great, but the 2nd series (Episodes 1-3) were horrible by comparison

As far as science fiction goes, I think Star TREK is the more realistic of the two.

Neither, The Honor Harrington Series by David Weber beats them both with no problem.

George Lucas shouldn't be allowed to write his own screenplays. Those last 3 he made were utter Shite.
