Morning tests are the best. your on a winner.
I just passed, one more minor And I would have failed
It only lasted about 15 Min's (all that worrying for 15 Min's of driving)
Just concentrate on what you've learnt
drive safely and keep checking those mirrors before doing anything(moving out, moving in, slowing down, speeding up, turning)
It helps if you move your head when you do this so the examiner can see your checking .I did the counting method when on the straight roads 1.2.3. check 1.2.3. check.
Act confident and the examiner will feel more relaxed(say to yourself I can drive and that's what they want to see )
Remember If you make any mistakes or stall That is not a fail(unless it's dangerous, like doing something to cause other road users to swerve or slow down) If you get out of the situation calmly and safely that is what they like to see, and missing a turn when asked is not a fail it's how you drive not how you follow instructions .with that in mind you could basically drive where you want to
GOOD LUCK! Shorty..he he

I failed my first test for considering pulling out at a roundabout when I didn't really have enough room. Apart from that I it was an almost perfect score.
My second test (taken in London traffic) was odd. I was approaching a set of traffic lights and wasn't sure if I could get across the box junction so started slowing down - and the examiner told me to 'get on with it' and enter the box, at which point the traffic ground to a halt and there I was stuck in the middle of the crossroads with cars trying to drive through me. I then went to perform the emergency stop procedure (where they hit the dashboard with the clip board) and I stopped before he'd even moved the clip board!! - Amazingly, I passed.
Good luck for tomorrow - I'm sure that if you feel ready you'll be OK

I passed my motorcycle, car and hgv test first time all many years ago and i did because i had a good drive on each one ie other road users didn't do anything too stupid and when they did i saw it coming although the bike test was just a ride round the block and not hard to fail.If you resign yourself to failing then you will do better and 930 in the morning seems to be the best time to take the test as the roads are quiet and the examiner might be in a good mood.
Good luck and deep breaths.

Well in my 1st one I nearly went through a red light, it was still early on during the test and the examiner still took me through the rest of it and it played on my mind the whole way through it. Especially when I had to do the 3-poiny turn and there were about 4 cars waiting for me so they could pass, it completely messed me up and it ended up being a 5-point turn.
In the week leading up to my 2nd test, I knocked down a dog that ran in front of my car at the last minute so I was pretty shakey coming up to it but I passed it (Luckily in the lesson I had right before the test, the instructor took me to the exact same corner to reverse round that the examiner did, so I knew exactly how to do it - how lucky was that!)
My sister done her test yesterday and she failed because she clipped a kerb and accidently drifted into the overtaking lane forcing someone to slow down.
Just try to be calm and good luck tomorrow.

My second one went fine :) unfortunately i failed the first one for the minor point of making contact with another vehicle :)
If yours is tomorrow, my advice is this, have a couple of drinks tonight, but obviously dont cane it - if you turn up smelling of alcohol you're boned and get an early night, then in the morning get your mum/grandma or anyone who has some to give you a valium - calms the nerves well. My driving instructor advised that both times - i only listened the second time :)
ps. good luck - and remember - it cant be that hard, look how many drivers there are out there!

Did mine on Tuesday and to tell you the truth i was bricking it. I was sitting in the reception and the examiner came in and made me feel confident with my driving abilities. Hey, don't worry cause your driving instructor would not have recommended you for a test if he/she didn't think you were capable.
I went out on the drive and i got the turn in the road and the 3 point turn as my 2 manoeuvres, which was good cause they are the easiest to do.
Just remember the show me tell me part and drive your heart out and before you know, it will be over.
I got 2 minor mistakes, which is great.
Good Luck.

Mine went very well. I passed my driving test 13 years ago first time. Go me! :)
No theory or written tests back then, just driving and manoeuvres. Then at the end of the test the guy held up two road sign cards and asked me what they meant. That was it. Had a couple of minor faults, one was I didn't check my mirrors at some point, but overall it went well.

I passed mine 15 years ago. I had 30 mins of driving and 3 quesions (asked verbally) from the highway code. It was REALLY easy in those days! Have you got your theory or practical exam?
Just relax and do your best, you'll be fine.
PS: 9:37 am seems like a bizarre time! Very accurate.

i thought i had failed mine after 2 turns. a woman pulled out in front of me, my reaction was to slam on the brakes. the test dude never said anything. i was crudding it the rest of the test, thinking about going for a joy ride convinced i'd failed. but in the back of my head, i knew i was in control of the car and might still pass. after 20 mins i was done and had passes, so my point is, if you think you've failed, dont give up. they are not there to hound you, just show them you can control the car....
good luck.x
