Why do you have your period when you start taking the Pill (active)?

I read that taking the active Pills make your body create a barrier to stop bleeding and you bleed when you take the sugar pills because the barrier goes away. So why do you have your period when you inititally start taking the pill on the first day of it?

because your body and your hormones are getting adjusted to the new chemical in your body which causes your hormones to be imbalanced. so until your period is regulated by the pill you will bleed until its under control. Its OK so don't worry, its just your body getting used to it.
