I wanted the exact same thing from a hotel as you, and spent ages researching. In the end, I chose The Grange City hotel. It's a short tube ride away from Oxford St, has a pool, jacuzzi, breakfast included and is a 5*. They also leave posh toiletries and magazines in your room! I got it for £95 on a Friday night. It's so cheap because it's primarily for business people, who generally stay midweek.

Try laterooms.com as this is where I found it.

All central London hotels are a stupid price, especially 5 star. Check out London Tourist Board for a deal.

Try booking via expedia.com. Often they have offers with reduced rates. The Tower Thistle or The Royal Garden (in Kensington though) are nice. Don't know if they're 5 star though. You'll get ripped of for 5 star in London.

The Grange City or the Grange Holborn are the only two 5* hotels under 100 pounds if you book in advance and are staying on the weekend.

You can use www.hoteldoorman.com to book one of them in advance.

If you don't want a stupid price you can't have a 5*!
That's the point of five stars, best quality, highest prices. That happens worldwide!
