i need help we seen the name jovan and thought it was a cute name for how we think it is sAID! but we are not sure how it is pronounced..we need help..is joe-von..cause thats how we thought its said!

I really like that name too...I'm pretty sure that's how you would pronounce it...I also like it spelled Javon....pronounced Ja-Von just as spelled....good luck to you!!

When I read it, I pronounced it Joe-von.. like the cologne. Just keep the cologne thought in mind here too.

hi, my name is jovan and i am a girl. i know that in alot of diffrent cultures, my name is used as a guys name as another version of john...but here in north america...theres lots of us girls!! it is a name used for both..and yes..that is how i pronounce my name....joe(with a soft j) and then vohn. this name is the best lol as i have only met 1 person with ym name in my whole life...its nice being unquie.

i would think is pronounced joe-van. but you can spellit however you like and you can pronounce it however you like, that is the beauty of giving you child his/ her name!!!!
