There is one where if a woman who is 3 months along or more holds a boy and it crys she is having a boy BUT if she holds a girl and she crys its a girl. Get it? Hold a girl no cry its a boy. Hold a boy no cry its a girl. They are suppose to be able to sense the male and female hormones.

Wives tales are not truth. When I was pregnant they said because of where the baby was (sitting high or low) I was preggo with a boy but I had a girl. Second pregnancy they put a necklace over my hand and it went in a certain direction and apparently I was to have a boy........................but!! I had a second daughter. I think all these wives tales are just bullcrap. Get a sonogram if you want or need to know the sex of your baby, but I found it more fun to wait until I had my kids before knowing what I was having.

Okay here is a really old school, superstitious one I have heard & tried.
Make a Pendulum... Get a ring, hang it from a long string or necklace. Hold the ring on a string firmly at the top, with the ring just above your belly. Its suppose to go in a circle if its a girl, and a straight line back and forth if its a boy.
I tried that when I was pregnant with my oldest... said boy, and he was.

There is one about the mother carrying the baby high or low in her body. I think High is a girl and low is a boy, but it has been a long time since I was a new dad. We had one of each though and it did hold true. I'm just not sure exactly which position was for which. It's been 33 and 29 years.

I've heard several and unfortunately they were all wrong about my pregnancy. One being if the pregnant woman bends over to pick something up and doesn't have to bend her knees it's a boy and if she does it's a girl. And another is one my dad use to swear by (he'd never been wrong till me) take the woman's wedding ring and tie it to a piece of thread and hold it over her wrist. If it swings back and forth it's a boy and if it goes in a circle it's a girl. And I'm sure there's many more to be found, but your best bet is an ultrasound. Best of luck!!! LOL

my family has used this trick to tell the sex of over a dozen babies and it's never been wrong.. not once.
get a sharpened pencil, a sewing needle and a piece of string. thread the needle and stick it in the eraser of the pencil. have someone wrap the thread around their finger, allowing the pencil to hang loosly. hold it over the wrist of the prgnant woman. it should start swinging in a circle. if the woman has had previous children, it will tell their sexes first. a girl will swing the length of the arm (from the fingers to the wrist) a boy will swing side to side from the left to right of the wrist. you should get a reading for every child you have had and will have in the future. it will swing in a circle between children and stop in the middle when it is done. sounds kooky, i know. we are not witches or anything. in fact we are southern baptists. but, as i said, it has never ever failed in our entire family.

My grandmother...an old wife used to say that if you gain weight all over it's a girl...just in front...a boy. I've had 5 kids. Gained a ton with the 4 girls...with my son...just in front. Left the hospital at my pre-preggers weight. Maybe granny knew what she was talking about. Maybe it was just a coincidence. The only sure way of knowing is ultrasound.

The Chinese calendar worked for me. Go to google type in 'is it a boy or a girl' It asks you for your age and what month you conceived. Then it will give you the sex. It worked for me and has worked for a friend! Good luck!

With my first child, I took this test and it told me that I was having a boy...I had a boy.
With my current pregnancy, it has told me I am having a girl..which I cannot confirm just yet.
