They are full of sugar, caffeine and other chemicals and definitely best avoided when pregnant.

Not really, They have a lot of caffeine in them that may be harmful to the baby, and reports have said it can cause miscarriages.(high caffeine intakes) You need to make sure you are getting enough rest, talk to you OB-Gyn if you still feel tired after a few naps a day. You may need to go on iron pills for anemia. It is normal to feel a bit tired while pregnant,( the growing baby pulls what it needs from your body) but not totally wiped out.
You may just need to cut down on you activity level for a while and get more rest.If you really feel you have to drink something to give you more energy, drink a small amount of tea or coffee.

Actually those are on the list of things to be COMPLETELY avoided during pregnancy. They contain chemicals and stimulants that are not only unhealthy, but could even cause preterm labor. Plus, the amount of caffeine in a serving (usually two servings per bottles also) is higher than the whole daily recommended allowance for caffeine. Fatigue is normal, and just a pain in the butt pregnancy thing you have to deal with. Some pick me ups that work for me is snacking (fresh fruits or low fat protein things like cheese or chicken) works well for slumpish periods. Also, try napping during lunch break (car, sick room if they have them at work or try to work something out with your boss) or napping if you get home early enough. Good Luck!!

Energy drinks are full of caffeine and caffeine isn't good for the baby. So it isn't a good idea to drink energy drinks. If your tired all the time maybe the doctor can give you something thats safe and won't hurt the baby.

Drink the ones that are loaded with vitamins....like Powerade. Better yet, just drink some juice...it works for me everytime!!
Energy drinks are LOADED with caffeine and sugar. Maybe if you just had 1/2 of an energy drink, you'd be ok....but I wouldn't drink the entire thing.

I would not suggest drinking any type of energy drink, they suggest that you avoid caffeine during your pregnancy and if you do only have small amounts so a energy drink full of caffeine is a bad idea

No. It is not. Caffine is very bad for baby. It also causes dehydration. Your body is behaving in a way that is necessary for you to grow this baby. You may need to get more rest. Tiredness in pregnancy is your bodies way of telling you that you need to slow down. Also, I experienced with my first pregnancy that caffine really did not help at all because you metabolise so much quicker when you are pregnant it just made me more tired, gave me stomach aches
and upset my baby.

I wouldn't drink energy drinks - they are usually saturated with sugar and/or caffeine. Both very bad for you and baby.

Just get your rest whenever and wherever possible. Also make sure you are eating a healthy diet - low iron levels can make you sleepy. Make sure you are getting your iron and B-vitamins.

If you mean powerade or drinks like that without caffiene you can drink them but they have a lot of sugar that will just add extra weight. I read that Red Bull has a warning that it isn't for pregnant women or nursing women. Best of luck.

It's not a good idea because they tend to contain a lot of caffeine. Relax. Your pregnant and will be tired - it's part of the journey.

NO! Drink plenty of water and take long naps. Of course you are tired...your body is making another human being. You'll have more energy in your last trimester.
