170 civilians reported killed by cowardly long range bombing and the intended targets go free.

When is this criminal administration going to stop this madness.

It will ultimately stop once Bush is removed from office along with his criminal administration. It will be a daunting and difficult task to "clean up" the mess however so patience will be required. Let's impeach NOW and remove from office, time to cut the head off the snake.

The number 170 doesn't appear anywhere in the story. Nor is the entire story about the the US..

I wonder if you thought the continued long range bombing of Bosnia under the CLinton administration was cowardly.

Here are some things I gleaned from the story:

"None of the top three suspected terrorists in Somalia were killed in a U.S. airstrike this week, but Somalis with close ties to al Qaeda were killed, a senior U.S. official in the region said Thursday."

That goes to your point, but doesn't use the number 170.

"Residents on Thursday reported new fighting between Islamic militiamen and Somali and Ethiopian forces.

The fighting early Thursday in southern Somalia set off a brush fire, residents said by two-way radio. There were reports of as many as 35 deaths."

US not involved.

"Somali officials have said the U.S. had a right to strike, and one even called on America to send in ground troops to help root out al Qaeda extremists and the Islamic militia believed to be sheltering them."

Somalia endorsed the bombing.

"Ethiopia intervened to protect Somalia's internationally backed government on December 24 after forces loyal to a fundamentalist group called the Council of Islamic Courts advanced on the only town the government controlled.

Within 10 days the Ethiopians, joined by Somali troops, had pushed the Islamic fighters into a corner between the Kenyan border and the Indian Ocean. The remote, forested area has few residents and high frequency radio is the only reliable form of communications."

Sounds like the real problem in this area are the islamic extremists and not the Americans. The madness will stop when the islamic extremists stop killing people.

They ask for US help and the 170 civilian figure has been reported different by every different news reporter. It has also been reported as 150 Al Qeada insurgents so don't rely on accuracy in reporting.
The whole world should be involved with eliminating terrorist groups but as always the US is there. Everyone hates us for it now and then 20 years later they will talk about how great the US was for ridding their countries of these thugs.

As I read your question I am listening to a ceremony on the television where a US Marine, CPL Jason Dunham is being rewarded the Medal of Honor for throwing himself on a grenade and killing himself to save his fellow comrades. Hardly a cowardly move.

You Humanist are a coward. All you can do is hide behind some fictitous nickname behind a computer monitor and all you ever do is condemn us. How dare you even hint to the fact that our men and women who are serving the US are cowards.

Go back into your self righteous hole and rot

And yet, in another question, you complained about American lives being lost??? Everybody LOOKS innocent...but it's not just men dressed in uniforms killing the soldiers. Women, children, and men are all soldiers in their war. And who told you that they haven't gotten any intended targets??? My brother is over there and I have to tell you...I beg to differ!

When the voices in his head...excuse me, the reasons he went to war with Iraq are realized as objectives. Just what those reasons were, though, is anybody's guess.
