As per the scriptures it is so only! The enlightenment and spirituality are inseperable. Those who seek mind and beyond mind experiences do talk about spirituality and enlightenment. Enlightenment is in my opinion, an heightened awareness unshaken by any of our daily day to day activities, or else it is a detachedly attached mind-state, seeing everything in a broad minded or mindless way! Because they say mind created all dualities like, mine and yours. ups and downs, goods and bads in terms of our own limited vision. Unlike this, an enlightened being can see through and through all the truths of this world in a more refined way! That is called enlightenment. And those who have enlightened would never brag about it any way to exhibit for others, only their way of liviing, their words and deeds may show it, and that too can be seen by one who has the capacity to see it!

I think people who want to believe in mystical things and use religion as a way to have a reason to explain things would think that they are enlightened. The argument could also be made that if you are enlightened you would not have to have mystical reasons to deal with or explain difficult issues. Enlightened to me means that someone is thoughtful and looks at many explanations for events. I think fundamental religious people are cultists and are not in anyway enlightened because they allow their views and ideas to be made for them by narrow thinking, controlling, greedy and often evil people who set themselves up as clergy. Now someone who has a deep relationship with God, without the need for the social structure of organized religions would be enlightened in my view.

it is state wen u have the power to get anything you ask to god
or anything you say happens but ......this is the pluralism of it is that wen u reach that state you don want anything ,you feel complete and in reality too you are complete
this is enligtenment and this is through the religion you follow ,after that you yourself are on your own
you are a god
but this is the higest state of renunciation and service so its not easy
