When introduced to someone, do you remember their name?...?

I rarely remember names; it usually takes me a few days or even weeks sometimes (of course it depends on how often I talk to them) to remember someone's name if I've just met them. I know that sounds awful but I've always been that way.....

If it is someone i probably wont see ever again then i don't remember but if they make some kind of impression on me i do & if it is someone that i will see again sometimes i end up asking their name a few more times before i remember.

You know what, sometimes I really don't I often don't even remember the names of peopel I've worked with for half a year. I just completely avoid using all names by waves and just talking without intros.

If somebody makes a good impression, then yes! And for some reason, everybody can remember my very uncommon name. I hope that's a good sign :)

I usually remember most names - occasionally a name will escape my memory a few times before it "sticks"

I'm horrible at remember names. Someone could tell me their name and we could have a conversation and at the end of the conversation I'll have already forgotten their name.

my memory is worse than a fish... I have been in the same job for 18months and cant remember most peoples names, When they call out to me by my name, i just say " hey, how you doing buddy" It has backfired on me yet.

names escape me. But faces, I remember faces for years. I see people and think, OK I know this person but who are they
