Their reality show contests barely pay any money. On next, the daters get a few dollars. On Breaking Point, the winner gets $100. Is MTV broke or something?

They don't have to pay a lot, they get these people to do the craziest things for free or a couple of pennies and they are happy about it, I think these people just want to be on TV. They pay them hardly anything because they can.

They don't pay anything since there are so many that are looking for their 15 minutes and bragging rights "HEY, I'M ON MTV!!!"
Why should they pay more?
MTV makes money hand over fist.

MTv has sucked since the 90's. And they are bringing VH1 down with them too.......
