If the problem in appendicitis, it will be localized in the lower right hand quadrant (quarter) of the abdomen. Appendicitis has a specific test. relax. press the point of pain gently, and hold it. the pain should subside. release suddenly. If there is a sharp pain, you have "diagnosed" appendicitis. (don't panic yet, but don't ignore it) A very gentle enema might remove the obstruction and allow things to smooth out. If you have a blockage, it is late to begin trying to get healthy. Richard Shulze says he has dealt with hundreds of cases of appendicitis, and surgery is not a reasonable "cure". If you start the morning with a couple of cups of warm water, they will pass through the stomach, and loosen stools, so you can go to the bathroom without straining, and putting too much pressure on things. A salt water flush (two teaspoons heaping of salt in two quarts of warm water on an empty stomach first thing in the morning) will pretty well cleanse everything out of the digestive tract. (do the salt flush 3 days in a row to be sure everything is loosened and out. Plan on spending a couple of hours on the commode.)
Throwing up is your body's way of getting rid of stuff it can't pass on through. In your co-workers case, he probably needs to go for professional care. I mention all the rest to try to help out for "next time".

To be honest this could be anything from a simple stomach bug to gastritis to appendicitis. Although the latter 2 will make him double over with pain. I would highly recommend that he goes to the GP where someone with medical experience can diagnose him

Oh for Heaven's sakes, tell him to get his butt to the doctor. He deserves to be really sick for acting like this, and you should be ashamed of asking questions on here of the unprofessionals instead of encouraging him to get checked out!! Jeez...is it me, people? Is it me?!?!
