I've walked out of 2 marriages without being involved with anyone else. Not being close to anyone when i did it.
I don't think i could cheat in a marriage, i'd leave file for divorce before doing that, simply because of the emotional damage that's created when somebody cheats.
I don't know you but you can now say you know of a guy who has done this.

Very possible for a man to walk out on his marriage without anybody else having to be involved, just as a woman can.

men never leave one relationship unless they are in another, as men really don't like to be alone. they always tell u that there is no one else, and they give u all kinds of reasons why they are leaving u, but in reality they just want to keep u hoping that they will come back, just in case it doesn't work out with the other woman. they want to play but don't want u to start up a relationship, they just want to keep all of their options open to them, cause they are selfish. but it is cruel to keep someone hoping, and waiting when in the end they usu sally do stay with the other woman, as they other woman is doing all she can to convince the man to leave his wife, and be with her. if men were honest about the real reason they were leaving more wives wouldn't be as hurt, they would just get a divorce and move on alot faster.

Of course it does. Your husband getting 'close' to a woman at work might be just that. Maybe he did something, but maybe it just made him think that he can do better than you. I wouldn't say that you can accurately say there was someone else involved.
Men leave their wives out of neglect or due to problems on her part (drugs, wild or abusive behavior).

I'm sure it happenes once in awhile for a man to leave and no other woman involved. The ones who find out their gay after all do leave.
Some have left just because of money, and nagging. But I bet the % is very high for a woman being the cause.

Not in my opinion.
Frankly, I feel the reason is cultural and comfort. For generations, it has been hammered in most men that once they are married, they are responsible for the family. Obviously, to overcome such drilled in concept one need a strong pull - and the OW is the catalyst.
Comfort... well... home is more comfortable than upheaval. Especially if the wife takes care of the home, food, ironing, washing...

One man, out of a thousand, might leave without another woman involved, but it's VERY rare. Your husband is not only a liar, he's a "cheater" also. His "close" woman is the reason he's leaving you.

I knew a guy who left his wife, but he took his kid w/ him....but she's messed up in the head. He couldn't take living in the same house with her anymore. And as far as I know, he's divorced and still not really seeing anyone. I know he doesn't have anyone special, and don't ever see him dating either.
