Because we are silly! LOL Human nature. We are looking to be entertained and entertain back. I just asked a serious question and I got a very good response but I noticed that I got alot of thumbs down on my question and I thought it was a good one. I guess people think that if you are in the P & S Section this is only for entertainment. I hope I answered your question.

I have asked myself that same question. I think maybe it's because people don't have to think so hard or try to come up with a civilized answer to a silly question.

Because people like having fun. Why stay serious all the time? Also, some people don't want to take the time to answer serious questions.

Because they are more fun to answer than the usual boring questions! It takes more thought to come up with a funny/humerous answer. Funny people are smart people!

because many people live life as shallow and closed as they can, because it is easier to hide from their own personal demons. They answer stupid questions or answer serious questions glibly because they are under the impression that intellect and depth will bring them down...
