I'm not sure it would be sexy, but it would surely be comical. Seeing a girl dance around a mop like it's a stripper pole seems so hilarious to me. Most likely, he is sure to appreciate the effort that you put into it, and that might turn him on by itself, but I doubt that it is the mop dancing itself that would do the trick. They do sell poles like that at adult toy stores, or you can use the shower rod in your bathroom.
Personally, I say you should use the mop. You may not get the reaction you were expecting, but you will get a positive reaction nonetheless. Go for it!!!

(ANS) If my girlfriend or wife decided to dance sexily for me around a mop or anything else for that matter just scantilly dressed i'd love it, it would be most mens fantasy I'd suggest & I dont think it could fail to impress (if thats the right way to put it??!! yeah hell probably be pleased that youve made the effort for him and he might even buy you a pole dancing kit for your room i think they sell them at tesco, no bolts or screws needed, it sticks to the floor by expanding to fit the space then lock it in place.

Go to an adult toy store, they make poles that don't have to be attached to the ground or ceiling. Just a tension rod, like what you use for shower curtains.
