They might "get away with it" for awhile, but yes, they always get caught. Besides, it eats at them like cancer everyday. Even "getting away with it", they NEVER get away with it.

Nope. Never been caught...I know for a fact my first husband never knew. Some years after we were divorced he came clean, telling me that everytime I had suspected him, I had been correct. When I told him it was ok and thank you for let me know that my intuition hadn't failed me, like he would have wanted me to believe back then; I also told him that at the end of our marriage I wasn't an angel myself and he was completely shocked...lol. He said he never realized that I had given in and pushed my principles, of not cheating, aside.
As for my second, I was never caught, but I was being accused of cheating long, long, long before I actually ever did.
Now I'm not willing to even get into a relationship w/ someone unless its an open relationship one where cheating isn't an issue.

Sort of. Depends on the individual.
A marriage counsellor I know said that in her experience, men are more likely to get caught (or confess) then women are.
If she had to guess, men get caught about 75% of the time, but women only about 30%.
I'm sure it has to do with how often they do it. If they do it once and bury it, likely they'll never get caught. If they do it over and over, they will eventually get sloppy or somebody will blab.

Yes, eventually I believe they do get caught
so yes, I think it's really true.
My question is to women and men who do this, how in the world can you live with this huge secret>??
There must be a lot of morals non-existent in a person to begin w/to do such a thing.
Even if the other person cheated 1st is still no reason enough to justify actions like this

Right on!!
We as a union should make strickter laws and rules in our society for the cheaters. Now that we're in the elctronic age, there's more cheating going on because of the internet and cell phones. I believe it's ruining our society as a whole where family values and vows are concerned.
They should make it alot harder to become married, and really sock it to any of the wanderers of the marriage vows.

Yes i do believe that you will eventually get caught out. Someone will see you and tell your partner. Or the phone calls. Or a receipt. Or calling your partner by your lovers name.

No, you do not always get caught. If you're lucky you can take it to the grave.
