i have this bloke 31 years old and he believes we were going out but i had told him no as i was with my fiance and still am he has been txting my mobile for about over 18 months now and some of these are threatening txt's to my fiance why won't he take no for an answer and leave us alone so we can get on with our lives as when ever he txt both myself and my fiance gets really shitty that he could even think about still trying after i have been saying no for so long

i have gone to the cops and they can't do anything as yet or so they say i know they should be able to do something all they told me to do was go and get a restraining order out against him

guys dont like that idea of getting rejected and they love when a girl is hard to get. so by saying no to them just makes them want you even more. but in ur case the cops r right u have to go get a restraining order against him b4 the cops can do anything. he's stalking u. i'd change the cell phone numbers. but before u do that go get a restraining order. if u have any of the text messages that he sent u it'd help. and u need to be able to prove that he's really stalking u. but until then the cops can't do anything.

I would definitely get a restraining order against him and I would also change both cell phone numbers. Do not delete those messages though. Make sure the police did get copies of all the messages. This guy is a dangerously sick man. Be careful.

ok reality check here, ppl do weird **** all the time , most folks that do what you describe do it because it gives them some small sense of self satisfaction, but hold the bus here a minute .. you say he's been txt'ing over 18 months ???? wtf
did it occur to you at any point in that time to say ?? change your ph number,, thats if its affecting you and your fiance that much.
and hell yes your quite right the cops aint gonna do jack more important things to worry about than some txt nut. and a restraining order hey ??? somehow i just don't see that as being very effective against a mobile phone ...

Perhaps you should do what the cops say. With the restraining order-take proof of his txt messages.

Another option-change your phone #or txt block or call block.

Fact is he is just being a "pain in the ass". Just don't let you or your fiance sweat over it....

How did he get your phone number? Get the restraining order and change your phone number. You should also show the threatening messages to the police, they may not be able to stop him from calling you but him making threats against you is another story.

18 mths he's not going to stop anytime soon RESTRAIN him, or fiance should make a house call.

Probably option 1 is the smart option.
