No, and no.
It is our nature to try to be superior to someone else. That's the entirety of the problem. To be richer, to be smarter, to be stronger, to be closer to God. Even the Beatles had succomb to this flaw in human nature - Yoko Ono stepped in and disrupted the group. Sometimes people with the most innocent of intentions can cause terrible wars. One of the most sublime and wonderful things we have - religion - is the cause of the majority of conflicts.
But this isn't all curse. It is also a blessing. We are all different, and we strive to be so. In being different with different ideologies, cultures, thought processes, and different paths, we grow. If we were all the same, we would like be ants. And still we would have conflict. Weather, predators, giant children with magnifying glasses.
Conflict is a part of living. Because of it, many do suffer, but it is how we grow and continue to exist.

You know what, the Beetles couldn't manage their own lives very well let alone run the world.
Give me a hug isn't the way to defeat terrorists and extremists.
Sorry, but the fact is, somebody is going to start a war and my bet is it'll be someone from the middle east...

The Rodney King desire, "Can't we all just get along?" Well we are people, homo sapian sapians, we are the most aggressive/jealous/hate full/vengeful species on the planet. As long as there are 2 or more humans on the planet there will be wars, rumors of war, and fighting.
Get used to it

ROFLMAO!!
Thanks I needed a good laugh.
Sorry to have to be the one to wake you up to reality, but there will never, ever be an end to wars. There will always be evil people, and they will always need to be stopped. It's part of being human.

I think eventually that will happen... it will have to happen for our survival as a species. Global warming may speed up the process, but I doubt it will happen in your great-great-great grandkids lifetime.
