Won't bleach cause it to yellow? As for using a mop-I can;t do that with a broken arm.

Recruit the rest of persons who live with you to help you and pitch in with the cleaning... You are not their slave and besides you are wounded and need help...

Broken arm or not, I would recommend the iRobot Scooba. It cleans wonderfully and the is no getting down on your hands and knees. With a Scooba you can mop your white tiles every day (and keep them white) without spending all your time mopping.

until i get around to that room, i have a shiny white tile in my master bath. i use distilled vinegar in water and it does a good job, with a sponge mop. it doesn't streak, and as long as you don't use too much actually leaves a "clean" smell.

bleach is the best whitener to go with, you can add a cup of fabric softener to dilute the bleach smell, and the fabric softener will also add shine. just add with warm water and mop.
good luck.

(jokingly) don't walk on it now, but you could seal it if it is clean to begin with wich would make for an easy clean up after being sealed
