The storm did not affect those of us who live in the Regina area, and it's impact seemed to have waned about 75 or 100 km south of Saskatoon, on a line going through places like Kindersley and Yorkton. However, on Thursday I spoke with a pal of mine in Saskatoon who said that it took him a full three hours to drive the 4 km from his office downtown to his home south of 8th Street.
Yeah, we in Regina consider ourselves pretty fortunate to have missed this storm, but don't forget that we endured a ferocious storm back around February 10 2004.
