I just had a baby boy in 2005 and Im pregnant again but this time its a girl. Is ok to have a baby shower again since its a girl?

OF COURSE IT IS!!! Baby showers aren't just about the presents. It's about CELEBRATING BABY!!!! It's an exciting thing....and all the people that love you and your son and your husband will want to be a part of that love and celebration!!!
Register....but understand people will get you what they want to get you and that doesn't mean stuff off the registry (you probably learned that at your first shower!!)
Have someone throw the shower for you....even if you need to nudge them in that direction and help out a little bit. This way it doesn't look like it's just about you asking for gifts (which I know it isn't....but some people get sensitive about these etiquette issues).

Any time you have a baby it's okay to have a baby shower! Most of the time you still need alot of stuff for the next baby. Have the baby shower this is a time to celebrate! Congrats and enjoy your little girl!

I gave my friend a baby shower for her girl and it was her third child! You need girly stuff, so go for it!
p.s. As a way of getting the very necessary diapers, I charged "admittance" fee of a pack of diapers. My friend was thrilled at all those free diapers!

Not a problem since you want to... Though the old tradition was only for the first child, but the world is changing.
Make sure to make it a nice one though,,, you don't want people coming just because they have to... you want them to be there to enjoy their time. You want them to enjoy giving you the gifts.

yes! we threw one for a family member she already had baby showers for her kids but this time it was a boy! so i would say go for it you need the girly stuff now

If a friend or family member decides to have it for you then it would be fine. Otherwise I think it would be rude for you to throw one for yourself.......But since you are having a girl, I'm sure someone in your family will have one for you.
