From a political standpoint Honor is working to the benefit of those who elected you. Honor is not lining your pockets or selling your vote to the highest bidder. Honor is doing things because they are right, not because they are popular. Honor is standing by your convictions even if they are unpopular. Honor is not changing your story constantly to suit the prevailing wind. I would like to give you a list of honorable politicians on both sides of the aisle, but the honest truth is that I believe they are few and far between. I don't think elected officials start out this way, rather that they are corrupted by the structure which does not allow for mavericks or individualism. Washington is a you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours kind of town where the will of people to often falls casualty to the agenda of special interests. If you are looking for honesty, integrity, ethics, or honor in politics I wish you the best of luck and please let me know if you find it.
