How is christina agulara married to a guy if she kissed a girl, my teacher said the gays can't get married?

My teacher told me that it was illegal but some places did it anyway but they were not really married. How did she get married if she kissed a girl?

Your teacher is only giving you his/her point of view. I'm married to another woman and have the same rights as a married man and woman by law (this is in England). Many religions don't believe that it is right but some do and even have gay priests.

I was told this was because in the past an imporntat thing to a religion was that it's members would have lots of babies that would be taught to be the same religion as their parents. It was one way the religion could grow and increase their followers. For example, Catholics are banned from using contraception and in the past most Catholic families would have up to 10 children.

Kissing someone of the same sex as you does not necessarily mean you are gay. You could be bi-sexual or just doing it for fun.

Your teacher doesn't have any gay friends and probably doesn't believe that it is right that 'gay' people even exist. So he or she isn't the best person to inform you about gay matters.

I hope that you grow up to understand that all people are different in their own way and just because someone isn't the same as you it doesn't mean they are wrong.

I wasn't aware Christina had gotten married in the first place. But more to the point, simply kissing someone of the same sex does not make one homosexual. Furthermore, even if someone had had a homosexual relationship, that would have no bearing on a current or future relationship. Sounds to me like your teacher has her head stuck up her as$.

Not sure were you're going with this... just because a girl kisses a girl (or sleeps with her for that matter) doesn't mean she can't marry a man... a heterosexual marriage is pretty much legal everywhere...

As for 'gay' marriage - that's largely a political issue, when it should be a religious one.

Regardless you are correct, 'gay' or same sex marriage is largely illegal in the US, though accepted in much of Europe.

I'ts not illegal to kiss a girl, however in some countries where religious fanatics rule, it may be. Although the U.S. does not ban kissing, many religious people feel that it it wrong. They try to force their religious ideals on everyone else. As a guy, I wouldn't want any of my girlfriends kissing any girls without me there to join in.
