It must be in their contracts that they can't say anything bad about liberals - I don't understand what they are trying to do, but when minor surgery overtakes major government felonies, I try to find other sources for my news. You know that if it was a Republican, this would be huge news and all the news stations would be winning awards for "breaking news" coverage. It's disgusting.

Sandy Berger's behavior is so readily comparable to the Oliver North incident, that the media, who are not nearly so liberal-biased as some like to think, don't want to raise the issue. Perhaps Sandy Berger should have found some bimbo to carry papers out in her boots. Then the matter would never have been mentioned at all. If Sandy Berger's a traitor, what does that make Ollie North? And what does it make of the patron saint of Republicans, Ronald Reagan?

I think that the bigger question is why an admitted commission of a felony that could have netted the perpetrator 20 years in prison only resulted in a $60K fine. The extent of the damage done by Berger may never be fully realized. I have to believe that he was covering for the guy who granted him permission to go in the archives and pull this material in the first place, Billybob Clinton. Talk about another liberal cover-up.

Very well put...and typcial behavior of the liberal media.
They also made a big deal for weeks and weeks and weeks out of Bush's daughters having some beer when they were a few months short of being 21, but hardly mentioned Howard Dean's 17 year son taking part in stealing booze from a country club.
The latter might have appeared near the back of the newspaper, and I don't remember it being talked about on TV at all.

The liberal media protect their own. When Fawn Hall, a civil service secretary, was suspected of sneaking shreded documents out of the NSA in her pantyhose it was news for 4 years. When Berger, a confirmed official commits a felony it is ignored by the media.
And yet there are many delusional souls who deny the media has a leftist agenda.

Wrong.
Most media is controlled by conservative big business. There isnt even much about Laura's mole,or any other part of her weird face.
I see this site is largely a pro-reactionary fantasyland.
The 2 answers above me,case in point.
