It's very hard to know when your subconscious or instinct will be better than concentrated thought.
Sometimes we follow our instincts because we have a hunch somewhere based on experience we can't remember.
Sometimes that hunch leads us back to the same problem that we haven't resolved, to which we're addicted.
Sometimes thinking hard about things is a way to avoid living life!
And sometimes we learn by thinking very hard- oh yeah, I've seen this before, and last time what I did didn't work. OK, what's next?
You've got to know which category you fall into first, before you can consider whehter your gut reaction or long thought will work.

maybe you think about things so much that you come to a snap decision because you are bored of your own thoughts clouding your judgements? In the end the decision is all that counts especially if you follow through

Thinking hard is technically a decision within itself. You are postponing making a snap decision. Therefore, there are consequences to postponing the decision.

Giving thought is always a smart move but ultimately, I think we know the answers. That first instinct is usually right. Unless it's too easy, then it's most likely wrong :)

It is better to sit down and look at alternatives by making a list of pluses and minuses. However once you go through this don't reanalze and second guess
