It happens slowly, but in time, it does hurt less and less. I still miss my parents, especially my Dad. He was my "rock". I could talk to him, and he gave great advice, although he was just a "country, uneducated" man......one thing he knew was LIFE. I go to his grave often, sit down, and just have a talk with him. I miss my Mama too, but not nearly as much as my Dad. I fill my time however with living people. They're the ones that can look you eye-to-eye, and talk to you. Find a person, or persons that you respect and "adopt" them as your parents to help fill the void. Good Luck!!

I am so sorry to hear of your losses. It tough to loose anyone, but two is really tough We never stop missing our loved ones, but death is part of life and life must go on for you. Maybe you should look into a bereavement support group. You've got to get up, get out and immerse yourself in something. Take an art class or another class at the community college. If you don't feel like getting out, them redecorate or update your home. You can paint the walls and change the curtains and you'll feel real good about yourself. Write out your feelings in a journal. Best wishes.

During this time, spend time caring for yourself. Find the things to do that give you pleasure--food, movies, places to go, friends. Do those things. Get a massage, pamper yourself. Those are all things that can comfort you.
Join a grief support group at a church or local agency. They are offered by hospice programs and other groups. I am sad to hear of of you news.
One day you will feel good again. I've lost both my parents. After a few years, my grief turned to a celebration of the wonderful lives they had,and that we shared.

I am so very sorry for you. I don't know where you are coming from. I have lost loved ones and friends, but not a parent and I can't imagine the hurt you must be going through. The best advice I can offer is to look to God for your healing, support, and anything else you need while facing this tragedy. He will never leave you. Again I'm very sorry. God bless.

You will always remember your parents. But as time passes by you will feel comfort. When my grandmother died I thought I died with her. It took me a couple of years but she is always in my heart but I know she is in a better place looking over me. She is my guardian angel. When ever you need someone to talk to just look up at the sky and talk away they are listening. that seems to help me whenever I get to thinking of my grandmother. I hope this helps. God bless you.

I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS!! IT;S WON'T BE EASY FOR YOU, ESPECIALLY THAT YOU LOST YOUR, PARENTS, YOUR CLOSEST PEOPLE. TIME HEELS ALL WOUNDS. I KNOW IT SOUNDS LIKE A CLICHE, BUT IT'S TRUE. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY. AS LONG AS YOU REMEMBER THEM- THEY WILL LIVE IN YOUR HEART. TRY TO REMEMBER YOUR PARENTS AT THEIR BEST- WHEN YOU WERE THE HAPPIEST. KEEP THE MEMORY FOR THEM ALIVE, AND THEY WILL LIVE. THINK ABOUT THAT- WOULD THEY BE HAPPY IF THEY SEE YOU SAD AND CRYING? NO, THEY WOULD WANT YOU TO CONTINUE YOUR LIFE AND FIND HAPPINESS.
