I try to hold eye contact but i usually am the first to look away.

I hold eye contact. I can't talk unless I'm looking in someones eyes.

i always look people in the eye when talking to them.... it's a respect thing. i will make eye contact with a stranger until i entice them then i'll look away.

Always - look them straight in the eye - until they're at least 6 feet off the ground and damned uncomfortable.

Mind you, Marty Feldman would always make this a somewhat tricky exercise... lol! I haven't yet mastererd the art of looking round corners without moving my head.

I can usually hold the eye contact longer. When i was younger I couldn't though, but now that I am an old broad....:o)

no i feel ashamed if somebody staring at me so i cannot hold eye contact so im the one to look away.

As long as their eyes point in the same direction. If one of them is pointing off in some strange direction I don't know where to look.

Yeah..I'm guilty!! I get kicks out of making eye contact with awkward and geeky looking guys....I love watching them fumble and trip...it never goes any further, but I'm sure it makes their day LOL..mean aren't I?
