I guess the Sahara in Africa - 3.5 million square miles.

If you're including polar deserts, there's one in china.. 1,300,000 square kilometers in size, it is nearly twice the size of Texas and sprawls across much of China and Mongolia... calculate the percentage.

How to calculate percentage? Multiply the deserts size in (km) for example by 100.... then divide the answer by the whole continent's size (in km as well... for example).

You do the math ;)

Antarctica 5.5 million sq miles/14.2 mill sq km close to 100% cold-desert climate. However warm deserts, I would go with African/ Sahara Desert % ? it is big
