I don't know if it changes people. It would seem to me, if winning a lot of money makes people feel superior, they always felt that way, the money only makes them feel entitles to act that way. I think it makes generous people more generous and arrogant people more arrogant, but that's not changing them in my view. Just magnifying traits that were already there.
It does seem to change others people view of them though. For whatever reason, rich people are treated differently than poor people, and I can't figure out why. Money doesn't make a person superior or inferior to anybody else as far as who they really are as people.

It is difficult to give an objective answer to what you asked as it is not an issue in economics - it may be in behavioural science. All the same I have given a list of quotations which captures the essence of what you are looking for:
"A wealthy man always has followers." - Anonymous
"If you want to know what God thinks about money, just look at the people He gives it to." Old Irish saying.
"He who has money need have no fear of the law." Old Russian saying
"The rich are the scum of the earth in every country."
-G.K. Chesterton, English author and mystery novelist, 1874-1936
"Money is a new form of slavery, and distinguishable from the old simply by the fact that it is impersonal ~ - that there is no human relation between master and slave." Leo Tolstoy
"It doesn't matter if you're black or white, the only color that really matters is green." Family Guy
"Money can't buy friends, but you can get a better class of enemy. "Spike Milligan
"Where large sums of money are concerned, it is advisable to trust nobody." Agatha Christie
"The greatest enemy of mankind is his ignorance of the inherent money power in all of us. When the realization of this comes to man, he will like Samson, push down the walls of his prison. "
Edwin Clarence "E.C." Riegel
"Every era has a currency that buys souls. In some the currency is pride, in others it is hope, in still others it is a holy cause. There are of course times when hard cash will buy souls, and the remarkable thing is that such times are marked by civility, tolerance, and the smooth working of everyday life." Eric Hoffer
"The very rich are different from us - they have more money " F Scott Fitzgerald

I think it does change people to a degree.
Some people get wreckless and cocky when they come into money and maybe others are sensible and just feel more confident about themselves.
I think other people can also get very jealous and thats why people that suddenly get lots of money, lose friends!

Yes like my sister-in-law.. They cry about needing things given to them for their children but when they get a big wad of money (around tax time or when work is good) they blow it all on bull crap and wonder why they can't pay their bills later. Stupid.

It changes most people. When you've got it and you didn't have it before you become more materialistic and relaxed. When its gone and you had it before you become a worrywort with premature grey hairs who shops at Aldi and Costco.
