If you look at the history of eBay you would see that there has been a steady growth over the years although worldwide they are not a powerhouse like in the US. Yahoo Auctions is actually much more popular. eBay uses affiliations and business agreements to muscle the competition. If yahoo can capitalize on a few strategic business mergers they can continue to grow. eBay continues to change its business plan and RAISE FEES which only encourage competition.

Yes anything is possible. eBay has the money for lots and lots of advertising in every revenue possible. So they are the most recognized.

A new company who has a large advertising budget. And can beat their listing fees can give them a run for their money. They listing fees and the competition for big businesses now isn't worth the effort on eBay.

What do you mean, overpower eBay? You mean have more people buying and selling merchandise than eBay? It'll take more money than most companies want to spend. eBay is just a name, representing thousands of people who sell and buy.

I'm waiting for a company one day to over power Ebay.

Why? ebay suspend genuine seller without prior notice & warning. and they never want to hear or let us appeal.

we just need people like yahoo or google to know that they have to have an auction site that works
