My brothers girlfriend tells me how they go out and get drunk and do all kinds of stupid stuff and she never gets on the news but when brittney spears looks like she drank a little bit on new years they make a big deal about it. I would rather see my brothers gf on the news doing the stuff she talks about rather than brittney standing there with her eyes half open.

seriously celebrities are supposed to be role models and we learn from our role models so a celebrity getting drunk?? that's a big one they're not teaching us anything good so ppl have to make big deals cos they want the celebrities to change.

Since they are celebrities, everything they do is a big deal. There are tons of people in their 20's who do the exact same things, but it is not on the news because they are not famous.

I guess because they hold celebrities in such high esteem they don't expect them to be caught doing anything wrong. When they are caught though, the media generally makes a big deal out of it.
