Honestly, I couldn't care less if she was Miss USA or not. I think she's giving everyone a line of crap when she gets on stage and cries in front of everyone, saying that she never did drugs and she never drank. She's lying because she did something stupid and she's afraid the world will look down on her for it. She's all out for herself.

Well, until this whole scandal of Miss USA and Miss Nevada hit the news channels like a firestorm for a week straight I did not know who either of them were and I am sure that goes along the lines of a lot of people in the country. Besides if Miss USA and Miss Nevada are such huge role models, what does that make the likes of the hollywood sIuts running around and being considered "role models" I would rather have my daughter be looking up to Miss USA than I would Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan any day of the week. Besides, anymore nowadays a young woman like Miss USA drinking alcohol is nothing new, I am sure a lot of the teenage girls that look up to her have, has, or done much worse and/or tried worse.

Yes. Why not? Drinking is fun and cool. It makes you cool and popular and will gain you many friends.

On a serious note, the bar is at fault. Although she is setting a bad example, she shouldnt be stripped of her title. Everyone has a camera phone these days and no one has privacy. Incidents like these just go to show that we are all human. Most people have drank alcohol before reaching the legal age.

The people that thrive on negativity, and back behavior, need to watch their own back. Why is there a demand to seek out the worse about people that come, or are coming into the public arena? None of us are saints, and the good in us needs to find the good in others, and not the misdeeds. Mistakes will tell us the correct path to take through the rough, and we don't need finger pointers, or gossip tale tellers. It's all part of life and it's experiences. From what I could tell, she was given a chance, and a big mouthy slob from Comack LINY, that would not win in a dog show, got jealously mad, and lashed out, out of frustration, and penis envy.

Only if she is crowned with the new title "Miss USA State of the Union 2006" - you know so people can understand the disarray of our morals in the here and now. Mr. Donald Trump is so unpredictable. That's why I like him. And if this is what it took to get someone talking about Mr. Big Britches Rosie O'Donnell, then I'm glad this all went down. I used to love her. Now I don't.

The very IDEA of a "miss USA" pageant is 1000 times more offensive to me than the fact that the winner had a couple drinks... I mean, come on! Can't we move past the days where we parade young women up on a stage like cattle, grading them on their attractiveness and how sincere they are about wanting to solve world hunger? GUHHHH!!!!!!

This is very hard to answer b/c on one hand, she's acting no differently than most people her age but on the other, she is supposed to be representing and should be a model citizen. I think they did the right thing by giving her another chance.

Why not....Haven't we all done that at some point? I think it makes her more of the all American Girl because now we can relate to her.
