verify that you have DHCP setup on your network sounds like it may be turned off.
Run IPCONFIG /RELEASE then IPCONFIG /RENEW at the CMD prompt on the 2 client machines. They should pickup an IP address from the DHCP server. If they dont have an IP after that verify that the 2 computers are not setup with a static IP address.

Have you tried rebooting the server machine? I assumme you are referring to using Internet Connection Sharing, using one computer connected to the internet to allow the other computers to connect through it? You are using two adapters for the server correct? Wtih Internet Connection Sharing, the server computer needs two adapers while the client computers need one each. The server computer has to be turned on at all times you want the client computers to have internet connectivity.

Have you run the Network Setup Wizard? Are the computers wired or wireless? If they are wired, I suggest not using Internet Connection Sharing, rather use a Router and connect each computer seperately, which provided for each computer having its own dedicated connection without having to go through a server machine which has to be on at all times.

Routers these days are relatively inexpensive, and hubs with switches even less expensive. I would go with a router, though as this way the computers do not have to split the connection between them, freeing up bandwidth and making the network faster and less congested.

If you do stay with Internet Connection Sharing, you need to run the Network Setup Wizard on the server machine first, then on the clients. It is important to run the Wizard as the Wizard ensures that the proper settings are made in the registry and helps with connectivity.

Have you made sure that each computer has the exact same workgroup name? You can easily check in the System Properties. Go to Start then place your mouse over My Computer and right click then select Properties. In the System Properties dialog box, on the General Tab is the name of the Workgroup for your network. Make sure the exact same name, in the exact same formatt is assigned to each of the computers. If not, then you will need to change the name of one or two to the same name as the server machine or do so by running the Netowrk Setup Wizard on each, with the server first. If you choose you can put the configuration settings from the server at the end of the Network Setup Wizard onto a flash drive and then insert the flash dirve when directed to do so in each client computer when you fire up the Netowrk Setup Wizard in them. Or, you can simply do it manually, which is not difficult.

Now, one last item for you do check, or to try, and you can even do this first. If you are using an external modem from your ISP, unplug it for about twenty seconds and then plug it back in. This reboots the Modem and can solve the issues. Sometimes when connectivity is lost, it only takes a reboot to put it back in order. If you have a connection but get "This page will not display" error message when attempting to access the net, (sites not in your cache) then a reboot of the modem will often fix it. Rebooting the modem and/or router is the first step in that situation.

Good luck and have a great day!
