This interviews were done in Iraq, by CNN news reporters, and shown on television. What do US citizens say now? Are you willing to tell our troops there that Bush is out of his mind to send more aid for our troops safety, or is Bush on the right track to minimize casualties. I'm curious to hear everyones answer with respect please, and I will respect your response.

Sorry no link, I mentioned that it was a news clip, and I don't know of any links to give to you, but CNN.com. To all yes I agree that troops are trained to say things a certain way. But, the question is how do we as citizens react, being that the interview were done in Iraq, said by our troops, do we disregard that comments made by our military there? Also I and we all know that news medias, can blow a fart holes through their pants, with all the gas given on television. But, it is not my concern here, it is the troops, and yes I've spoken to many of our troops who returned home following deployment. I work with military tenants to run social services programs for their spouses and children. Still, there is no clear indication im Y!A of what we should do as citizens, if we should support or not support the increase of troops. Also, I know we cannot change anything, because they are our elected officials and Pres. that makes the decisions.

I suggest this to fix it all. We the USA, should just drop an atomic bomb on IRAQ and end this once and for all!!

Why not? WE DID IT BEFORE and it ended a war? even though we already won the war in iraq many terrorist are still hiding out there and using road side bombs to hit us, so why not just pull us out and drop one BIG BOMB

Yes, more troops should be sent to aid the troops there. Just keep sending more troops, that's a plan. Or how about a new plan, new tactics? Perhaps if we find a different solution to Iraq, something creative, something they may not see coming. We can't just run, we're in too deep. And the longer we stay, the more people get killed. The generals seriously need to find something better than "just send more troops".

Frann B. is correct. Troops are trained in how to speak to reporters, and instructed never to dissent with their commanders or Furious George, the Sitcom President.

Soldiers are not allowed to say anything derogatory. They take a class on how to answer questions. They are Govt. Property.

D-Man! Your clue is in "CNN". They want to show you THEIR version of what's being said. Talk to someone who's been there. Talk to ones that believe that is is a Winnable War. Try it. THEN tell all of the News people to start reporting the truth. Not what they want us to believe.
