Gary Clail did in 1992. It was a song remixed by Paul Oakenfeld (Perfecto?) if my memory serves me correctly.

its a funeral thing believe it or not, it also has a meaning in Scottish regiments at regimental dinners, when the colonel pays the pipe major with a glass of whiskey!.At the funerals the piper was paid to play 'laments'!.The piper at the funeral of Robert the Bruce was said to have been paid with a 'hogshead' of whiskey!
