The power on system has failed:
If it is within warranty contact the supplier
If not purchase a new monitor. They are next to never economic to repair.

I had that same problem with my monitor. It could be from a power surge inside your wall outlets. I never did really figure out what was wrong with mine. I just took it to a computer repair shop and they fixed it for me.

Ok go to the control panel then to power options. YOu need to set the monitor to shut off.

Mine does the same thing when my computer first boots up. I was told it is the monitor software configuring. It stops once the system is booted.

i think there is loose contact in the monitor port in yr cpu.. try fitting it properly...
