my parents immigrated to canada before I was born and back then it was considerably easier.
now, as far as I know you can apply as a skilled worker but you must have at least one continuous year of full-time paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment and it has to have been within the past 10 years. your experience has to be classified in the NOC website for you to be eligible. have a browse through there job titles and descriptions ,
, if you see your job there then you can apply. apparently there are no restricted occupations at this time. you need to be able to prove that you have funds to support you and your family financially in canada for the first 6 months (this is not necessary if you have already arranged employment in canada)

there will be 6 selection factors which they will use to assess your eligibility and you will be rewarded points for your abilities which will determine if you pass or not:
1. You earn points with previous education, the better your education, the higher your score
2. your language skills will be tested
3. your experience will be assessed
4. your age is a factor, if you are 21-49 at the time of application, thats 10 points right there, but you lose 2 points for each year over 49 and under 21.
5. Arranging employment before you arrive is a smart choice, this is what they will look at next.
6. they will look at your ability to adapt, considering such things as family relations already in canada, your spouse or common law partners education and other factors.

I recommend hiring a representative to aid you in the process.
good luck, hope that helps.

Naw, Bladwin's no longer returned yet. He and Eddie Vedder went to Canada and opened a prior formed little B&B outdoors of Vancouver and that they spend maximum of their time congratulating one yet another for their wonderfulness. To the poster under me - interior the previous Alec Stanley Baldwin and different stupid liberals have stated they might today circulate to Canada if GWB became president. that's a working American comedian tale.

The type of work you seek is not of high demand, labours and trades are your best shot.
