This was as far as I could tell actually being serious...
I mean no need to capture them, pen them, starve them, put em tiny cages etc etc etc but even I have a bit of an issue
sharing my aisle with one on a 767 or allowing them access to council housing, wouldn't you?

I agree that I don't think I'd wanna share a plane with a chimp or give them a council house... but I do sometimes wonder about some people too... lol.

I did see an article on Yahoo News yesterday that said they have a human exhibit in a zoo inAustralia and they are only allowed to eat bananas, apparently it's part of some experiment!

About bloody time. Research with primates over the last few decades has resulted in some extraordinary findings into both human and primate behaviour. Of course, the human viewpoint has always been to find out how much they are like us, but the real question is how much are we like them.

In terms of DNA, we are very close to both chimps and gorrillas. Hopefully this will mean we might stop treating animals so badly before we wipe them all out.

Well... I suppose that one percent is the difference between pooping on the floor and complex communication and written language. Sorry- not close enough for me. If chimps start getting treated like people, which involves housing programs for chimps, I am going to find a way to evolve and eat all the humans for being so stupid as to regress. We have enough people, people (and soon to be chimps on Yahoo answers).

Well they are not human enough to cope in society, they can't even communicate but it hasn't prevented them for applying for council housing so far.
