If you have a digital clock that makes a ticking noise, it's probably old, and I doubt you can "turn-off" the ticking, or even muffle the sound. Best bet would be to purchase a new one, or swap it out with another clock in the house that doesn't "tick," so that you have a quiet clock in the bedroom.

Noisy digital clocks are a thing of the past.Really really long ago in the past. You can get quiet ones now, for at least the past 20 years?

You cannot switch off the clock as it is an intregral part of the system. You can hide it from the control panel or you can remove the battery in CPU so that it will not function. But why are you trying to do that?
