its completely rediculous to suggest somebody could possibly be your other half. Would you really be half the person if you didnt have your "other half" there to back you up?

i agree with you! read "the celestine prophecies"
it says that 2 halves dont make a whole. two wholes make a better, bigger whole... lol sounds strange but makes sense i think.

Your "other half" is the other part of a couple, idiot! And you wouldnt be half a person if you were not with your other half to back you up!

totally agree.. I dont need another half to make me a whole!

but I think the expression is meant to mean that person has strengths where you have weakness and vice versa: its supposed to mean that you are a better person with them. but I totally get your point man!

well i believe when i say my other half i mean that if someone is sayin bad things about me and my other half (my lover)hear that she/he would defend me just like the way i defend her/him..my other half is the person who wishs me the best just like the way i wish for my self

i don't think people mean "the other half of myself" more so "the other half of my team"
