it's allright for drug store, but if you want the best matched make up for your skin color, you should go to the Prescriptives counter and have them mix you up a custom sample

I just bought some Covergirl Trublend foundation, and I love the feel of it on my skin. It is really light and fluffy feeling. It also blends in really well. I had no trouble finding my shade either. I use a wet sponge to apply the formula, and it looks very natural and sheer, but it also covers up any redness or acne. However, I found it wearing off at around 1:00p.m., after putting it on around 7:00a.m., So if you get it, you'll need to take it with you to touch up. Also, the price ranges anywhere from $6.00-$12.00, which I found was pretty expensive for a little jar of foundation that wears off in a few hours. I recommed Trublend only if you have the money to spend. If you don't, go with something a little bit cheaper like the Clean makeup by covergirl that comes in a glass bottle. I love that also.

I'm using it now... it works for me.
I had to buy two colours to make it look more natural with my skin tone.
To apply it on my face was different than other foundations I was used to for years. It took me 2 or 3 tries before I found a way to put it on without looking like 'I have foundation on'.
The way I do it... I'm sure there is a different way of application for anyone who wears makeup... but this is how I do it... maybe it'll prove to be helpful for someone else....
I have a clean makeup brush to get a bit of foundation out of the jar (try not to use your fingers... it'll introduce bacteria into the makeup.) With the brush I dab where I'm using the first colour. With a makeup sponge I dab, turn, dab, blend the foundation on.
Repeat with the other colour using another clean brush.
Once done I clean and air dry my brushes for next time.

Bottom line... I like using Trueblend for daily natural looks. I use something different for other occasions.

Have fun with your makeup.

Covergirls Trueblend foundation is the only foundation that I use.
I doesn't feel too thick or like it's caked on or anything.
It blends in very well with my skin tone.

I haven't tried any other foundation in years.

It works ok. I personally like the ones made with 50% water, they work a lot better.
