hmmmm its just modern day society! For instance councils are quick to give council-estate single mothers money/flats etc but they won't give money to hospitals......

This is a very unfair statement. Why are they scum? Jade obviously has risen from nothing to having her own perfume, her own reality shows (which I understand is not for everyone) and at one point her own salon. She has made all her own money and is very well off now. So I dont think calling her scum is the right word. I think if you dont like them that much then turn the TV off when they come on. There are worse people around in life than Jade and her mother.

Is it the trailer trash riff raff who watch them and buy the magazines to read about them who are really to blame.
I dont blame the goody family for their media exposure and the rewards that it brings.Carpe Diem.
Its a general dumbing down of entertainment brought about by a destruction of our british culture and lowering of standards in schools.
There was none of this nonsense before new labour!

That's pretty mean of you. Jade has made something of herself and although her mother is pretty cringe worthy, at least Jade looks after her and cares about her which cannot be said of many from more priviledged backgrounds. If she irritates you to that extent why don't you just change channels? You don't have to have the Goody family in your life thanks to the remote control!

God no. not even if extraterrestrial beings got here down, placed a ray gun to my head, and suggested they had to be certain some warm human action. That lady, honest to god, makes my abdomen turn, at the same time as quickly as I basically hear the call... thanks lots guy. and what's that uk massive Brother garbage anyhow? Why did not they call it the united kingdom's massive undesirable Spank-a-thon 9000 (with minorities?)

Hi
In the 19th century, it was perfectly OK to go and see the lunatics at the asylum, it was like a good saturday afternoon outing for all the family.
I suppose things are just the same now -only the asylum is on the telly.

Who are you to say that?
Who are you to call people scum? You’re no better, so get off your high horse, and get back to reality!
Jade and her mother have come from nothing, and Jade is now officially a millionaire… everything she’s done, she’s worked hard for. Jealous are you?

Maybe because producers think they are so dysfunctional that people will be more interested in watching their behavior and boost viewing.

I think your being a bit harsh on Jade.
You can clearly see where she got it from, but you also see how much she has improved herself as a person.
she's nothing like what she was before.

Woah! Get you being so judgemental! You can judge when you're perfect.
Got to laugh at The Great Escape - the correct phrase is "Hear, hear." Not "Here, here"
