If it is not acting or writing I find it hard to do.I did a camera assignment but I did it all wrong, I'm afraid of looking slow in front of my classmates. What do I do?I dont know if I am cut out for Salford Uni.I have to give in the assignment afterwards but I am afraid that the guy will not like the way I used the camera to put the film together.I'm really worried.I'm usually not so bad at drama courses, but I found it hard to do the filming with the videocamera.I got a referral for my movement lesson.

Hi Nachomanhulk.

From what you have said, it seems to me that you have a very low self esteem at the moment and your self confidence is very low.

Your university will have trained, experienced councillors that can help you to address the way you feel at the moment.

It is very important that you talk to them at this time. You will probably need an appointment but do it asap.

Good luck

Stop worrying and knukle down - the amount of time you spend worrying about it, you could work on improving your submission. Uni is supposed to be hard - that's why it's only the top 5% that go (although that figure may be a bit larger now).

Forget about what you look like in front of the others, they are all having the same concerns. If you are really struggling, ask some friends for advice, together you may find some better techniques.

Life is short so don't stress and don't worry what others think. Maybe you're on the wrong course, maybe uni isn't your thing. Is there a lecturer you could talk over your worries with? Most uni's have some kind of 'help' thing set up for students in your situation.

What worries me is that you come on HERE whining about it, as if you are going to get any sensible answers from the people on here. You obviously have difficulty in differentiating the internet from reality.

But you will be fine, you are just a young person having a crisis of confidence, that's all. Don't let Yahoo answers scramble your head up any further. Just be yourself and you will be just FINE.

And you might want to talk to your tutors about this,, that is what they are there for. Not us. good luck.

i work at a college and the best thing you can do is speak to your lecturer that is what he is paid to do, explain to him exactly what you have said here and he will sit down and go through your project with you

Good luck

Go and speak to your Tutor.
I had issues with my dissertation, and started seriously panicking.
If you leave it and ignore the problem, it won't go away.
You'll feel so much better talking to your tutor, honestly.
