I had to send my son's back last year. Go to Sony.Com and either email them or get the customer service number. They gave me all the information I needed. I had to send the old unit in, and they sent my son another unit immediately. They will ask for the id number off of the unit (located on the back of it). It will be useful if you have this number when you call. He had one that was missing some component. We were very pleased with the service and have had no problems out of the replacement unit.

Look off the web. They may even fix it for free the first time.
