seats on transportation should be slightly larger than average (after I've removed the outliers) to be fair to everyone. If you then take up more than one of those seats, you should pay for it. Why should companies have to lose half their profits (and jack up our prices) making a plane with 50 seats instead of 100 so that a few very, very large people can sit down? how is that fair to anyone?

They should be made to fly first calss. On some planes you'd be unable to fit in two seats because the arms don't fold up. The first class seats are large enough for a big person. I'm pretty big and I fit in most seats but a lot of times it's not very comfortable. I'm going first class next time.

Definatly! My 80 year old grandmother had to be subjected to a 8 hour flight with a huge woman crushing her against the window of the plane. This woman not only took up her own seat, but literally the majority of space in my grandmothers seating area...If people want to eat themselves stupid and not know when to stop, its their own fault and should have to pay for taking up more space! Or, there are baggage limits, so they're should be body limits too for the obese! Not to be rude, but I know my grandmother was in such pain and discomfort which affected her holiday..

If they are so large that they actually take up 2 seats, ie they cant sell the seat next to them to someone else, then yes its only fair that they pay for both seats.

Yes.
I pay to sit on one seat of the train, yet I often have to stand because Mr/Ms Fatarse has to sit on two seats at once.
Either they start paying for the two they use, or I get a reduced rate for only using one.

No, it would not. I don't say this to be mean either. I also believe that anyone with small children should be charged triple, or I should be (legally) allowed to slap them across the face every time they kick my seat. I say that to be mean, but I'm serious too.

Public transport should only be for the tall slender beautiful members of our society right?

ABSOLUTELY!
I'm forever getting squashed between fat folk on flights and I'm utterly sick of it.
They should have a gauge thing like they have for hand luggage. If you don't fit in the space, you need to buy 2 seats.
