Depends on the school and the student, One of my children is very good at math and took algebra in 5th grade one never took algebra until 10 th grade.

Algebra I isn't taught till the 9th grade.

well...as for me grade 5 should have a touch on algebra.....especially the basics.... so that when they are in grade 6 already they won't have a hard time

no, i was taught algebra when i was in the 1st year of junior high school. It's already too tough for junior high school, it's imposible to teach primary student algebra, except they're all smart n genius...hehe...

Most likely not, although some of the groundings of algebra would be. Also note that teaching grammar and the difference between "there", "their", and "they're" is very appropriate.

Well,

Algebra is taught in 6th and so there are very less chances of teaching it in 5th.

actually it's possible to be taught in 5th grade.. because my cousing in the philippines was 5th grade and they're taking geometry, and algebra

i wouldnt be surprised heck they may try to shove it down there throats in kindergarten at this rate.
